1. Ash

2. Calcium phosphorus ratio

 3. Digestibility

 It refers to the percentage of nutrients absorbed by the intestine in the feed. The digestibility of meat and bone meal is usually 85% or higher at 0.2% pepsin.

4. Fat content 

The fat content of poultry protein powder is the amount of fat remaining after centrifugation and processing. The fat content of poultry meat powder is usually 8-11%, while the fat content of poultry meat powder is usually 10-14%.

5. Fiber

For non ruminants, fiber is a relatively difficult to digest carbohydrate with low nutritional value. Under normal circumstances, the fiber content of meat and bone meal should be less than 2% (soybean meal contains 5-6%).

9. Protein content

 There are differences according to different product sources, for example: meat powder 45-55% (standard 50%), blood powder 80-90%, poultry by-product powder 58-62%, feather powder 80-90%, fish powder 57-77%.

 10. Salmonella

 Under good practice (GMP), the possibility of pollution can be reduced. That is, personnel and equipment shall be prevented from coming and going between the raw material processing area and the refined product area. Dust and moisture shall be controlled in the refined product area, equipment operation area and storage area. In addition, measures against insects, birds and rodents shall be taken.
